Reading: Our next story we will be reading is called Washed Up. The skills we will be working on will be making character inferences and identifying how characters interact with the setting. Word Study: Our pattern for this week will be words from Spanish. Their will be no quiz this week. Writing: We will begin our informative writing unit this week. Students will be choosing one of the 13 original colonies to research to connect to our next Social Studies unit. Our language skill will be verb tenses. Social Studies: N/A Science: We will finish our first Unit this week: From Food To Sun. We will be exploring the relationships between producers, consumers, and decomposes. We will have a test on Thursday, 10/10. A study guide came home Friday, 10/4. It is open-note, but students may choose to get bonus points for not using their notes. |
